I went to the gym again yesterday. Now, in February, I had a flu for a few days which affected my breathing and I am only now really recovering. When the going got tough on the exercise bike, I tapped for it. But I needed more. So I thought of all the good things I could think of whilst tapping, including a lovely poem Gary Craig sent in his last newsletter, and I managed a total of two minutes at 100+ spm. This is the speed at which something good happens to my left lung, and I need to build up to 12 minutes again at 100 spm. So a step in the right direction, and I'm very pleased. If you have a tough time tapping for motivation, tap and think of good things, acts of kindness, a loved one's smile, a hero's bravery, and you can be pleasantly surprised what a difference this positive thinking tapping can do.
