EFT For Having To Strengthen My Lungs Again After Suspected COVID-19 Infection It started with feeling miserable because I was out of breath this morning and had to take an inhaler with a nasty steroid in order to go for the gentlest jog. I had to tap something like: "Even though I'm miserable and just don't feel like going out to run, I deeply and completely love and accept myself". After half an hour, I was out the door in my running kit. But it was tough. So I tapped as I jogged something like: "I don't want to do this" and "It's too hard". Before I knew it, I had completed 1.3 km of mixed jogging and walking. Baby steps but a good start. Then I found it relatively easy to finish off with Yoga in the garden. Back After Flu and Injuries

Back to Rebuilding My Lungs After Flu And Injuries I was back to Spin today after flu (with the unavoidable chest infection, since I have COPD). It was hard, and tapping helped me to accept that I do a third of my usual gears and half my usual speed. Then I practised my Ju Jitsu, getting ready for next weekend, when I rejoin the Ju Jitsu class. I had tapped for days on my fear of going back having forgotten everything since my injuries 6 months ago.  It took about 6 days of tapping! But today, I calmly revised my Ju Jitsu and resolved to ask the Sensei to allow me to repeat the things I had forgotten, and to trust Sensei's direction and advice. I feel at peace. At last! The tapping I did was just tapping on all the points as I talked the panic talk in my head.  Simple. Evidence Cardiovascular Exercise Is Needed For Lung Health

Cardiovascular Exercise For My Lung Health From mid-January to end of August last year, I had COPD problems due to probably the worst virus I had ever contracted. This was despite having had the flu jab and a great deal of medical help.  By September, I was spent but worked hard to complete my Ju Jitsu training, to do my grading in October 2019. Then I broke my foot. That limited my cardiovascular exercise. Well, it put a stop to it. Today is the first day I seriously get back to it, both for my lung health and as an exercise to help with weight loss, as I had put on weight with 2 previous years of thyroid playing up. Yesterday, I was tapping with a client on weight, and whilst tapping, I explained how to use a motivation sheet that I use with clients with any addiction. And whilst tapping and talking about it, I was motivated to restart my own. So I did mine last night, and now I have to fill it in daily. Cardiovascular exercise is an item on my motivation sheet. Bad Times Should Not Lead To Negative Attitude I have been busy with a very bad political situation in my country and trying to guard and rise above its direct and indirect effects on my income and my quality of life. This found me searching for information on social media, as the press were not reporting what I needed to know. And somehow in all this bad news, I became negative and a bit obsessed. When Disappointment Is The First Thing You Wake Up To Suzanne Zacharia I woke up this morning to what should not feel disappointing, but I cannot help feeling disappointed and demotivated. There is no logical reason why I should feel disappointed by what happened, as a matter of fact, I should see it as an opportunity and not a disappointment. But logic is one thing, and emotions are completely something else. As a matter of fact, I feel low and demotivated. Ju Jitsu My New Sport and So Much Tapping! I have been doing Ju Jitsu now for just over a year.  And every week, I have to build strength and flexibility for the upcoming class. It has been hard work in the last 5 months due to my poor left lung suffering after contracting a virus in January.  In this morning's workout, I tapped. This was whilst holding weights and tapping with whatever finger points were available.  Setup; "Even though I have this shame catching up with the others, I deeply love and accept myself".
